The STEP Academy assists students in acquiring the skills and confidence to pursue post secondary education leading to careers in scientific, technical or health-related fields, or the licensed professions.

Brooklyn Law School welcomes students, teachers, and administrators from St. Joseph High School for the Annual Youth Law Day. The program, created by the New York State Bar Association’s Special Committee on Youth Outreach, aims to “expose young minority students to the great potential of a law-related career.”

The College Career Advancement Program provides an opportunity for qualified high school seniors to take college credit courses tuition free. Students may take one course during both Fall and Spring semesters at Kingsborough Community College.

The Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP) at New York University (NYU) is an innovative pre-college enrichment program for talented middle and high school students from New York schools. The Program encourages and increases the presence of historically underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering, math and licensed professions.

The Science Technology Entry Program is a weekend discovery program that introduces students in grades 9-12 to Science, Technology Engineering and Architecture.
