St. Joseph High School boasts a vibrant and competitive Athletics program that includes Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, and Step. As an all-girls school with a mission to empower young women to take on positions of leadership and service, athletics plays a special role in our curriculum. Participation in high school sports for girls has been shown to contribute to healthier life choices, higher grades, and higher graduation rates. The life-long friendships, physical skill, mental discipline, collaboration, competition and achievement that are crucial to a strong sports team all lead to the fact that girls and women who play sports have higher levels of confidence and self-esteem and lower levels of depression, as well as a more positive body image and a higher state of psychological well-being, than girls and women who do not play sports. We invite you to contact Coach and Athletic Director Mike Toro, (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in playing sports at St. Joseph High School, or if you have any questions about our Athletics program.
